One of the most important aspects of preparing for exams is to practice answering them. There are a number of study aids available that provide practice problems and suggested answers. Many of these study aids are available to Marquette law students online through the LexisNexis Digital Library.
Eckstein Law Library collects study aids in the following series:
Examples & Explanations (print) (includes hypos and detailed explanations_
Mastering (print and Digital Library)
Questions & Answers (print and Digital Library) (includes multiple choice and short answer questions, plus a practice exam, with explanations)
Skills & Values (Digital Library)
Understanding (print and Digital Library)
A comprehensive list of topics of the print guides can be found under the A - Z tabs above. In the LexisNexis Digital Library, search or browse by Practice Area.
Current editions of print study aids are kept in the reserve room and can be requested and checked out at the circulation desk. Earlier editions of some titles may be available in the open stacks under the same call number. Study aids in the LexisNexis Digital Library are available online and can be checked out even if other students are using the same study aid.
Also available to law students are interactive exercises and subject outlines at CALI, The Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction. Access is restricted to students and faculty of Marquette University Law School; please contact our Reference Desk, 414-288-3837, or our Circulation Desk, 414-288-7092, for the password.
