From the law library home page, you can navigate to every resource at the law school. We encourage you to investigate all the drop-down menus, ask questions, and get to know the resources available to you.
Law School events, departments, academic programs, student organizations, faculty/staff and student directories, and more, are accessible via drop-down tabs along the horizontal menu on the library page. The law school home page can be opened from the Marquette University Law School emblem in the top left corner of the library home page.
Reference & Research Services — found in the center of the page, has links to study aid titles recommended for 1L courses, 2L & 3L courses, topical research guides, and more.
You can reach a list of available subscription databases by clicking on the heading, Subscription Databases located on the right side of the library home page. Quick Links for Law Students, also on the right menu, has links to the subscription databases and also many open-access research sites for federal and Wisconsin primary law. It is a handy page to bookmark. Please explore these links and databases and ask questions of the reference staff. We encourage you to become familiar with the law library collection early in the course of your studies at Marquette. Librarians distribute login credentials for select subscription databases during Orientation.
Please ask a librarian if you need any help!
